An anal electrode is an effective way to implement an incontinence program using EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), for example, with the Globus Genesy SII EMS device. The electrode is shaped according to the human morphology to ensure an optimal fit, regardless of the position.
The anal electrode consists of two metal electrode parts coated with food-grade plastic. The special design allows for easy and comfortable insertion of the anal electrode.
EMS should not be used for incontinence in cases of anal infections and bleeding, during pregnancy or when using a pacemaker.
