An anal electrode is an effective tool for carrying out an incontinence program using EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), for example with the Globus Genesy SII EMS device. The electrode is shaped according to human morphology to ensure an optimal fit, regardless of the position.
The anal electrode consists of 2 metal electrode parts encased in food-grade plastic. The special design allows for simple and comfortable insertion of the anal electrode.
EMS treatment for incontinence should not be performed in the case of anal infections and bleeding, during pregnancy, or if a pacemaker is being used.
