EME HR TEK SP - Diathermy

The HR TEK SP is the little brother of the HR TEK Multifrequency Diathermy device. This innovative diathermy device is ideal for professional users such as rehabilitation clinics, orthopedists, and physiotherapists.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the HR TEK SP can also be used for treatments outside the clinic, directly with the patient. Weighing 9.5 kg, it is still portable and is therefore also ideal for the physiotherapy departments of major professional sports clubs, which can take the device to away games and training camps to begin TECAR therapy on site in the event of injuries.

Operation is intuitive and identical to the HR TEK. The large, high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreen allows programs to be selected depending on the body part. There are corresponding programs for every pathology, each with preset values. Up to 200 programs can be saved internally in the device.

With the HR TEK DESK, 3 different techniques are possible depending on the type of pathology:

1. Capacitive mode: Here, the greatest effect is concentrated on the area directly under the electrode. The capacitive mode is used especially for body areas with a high water content, such as muscles, the venous-lymphatic system, etc.

Optimal results are achieved with the following pathologies:
• Joint diseases and periarticular diseases
• Follow-up treatments after fractures
• Post-traumatic drainage of edema

2. Resistive mode: The resistive mode is used for tissues with low water content and higher resistance. A biological effect is also achieved deep down in the tissue located between the moving electrode and the counterplate, i.e., in bone, joints, tendons, ligaments, and cartilage.
In resistive mode, optimal results are achieved with the following pathologies:
• General traumatology
• Sports traumatology
• Arthritis
• Osteoarthritis
• Tenosynovitis
• Capsulitis and bursitis
• Heel spur syndrome

3. Bipolar mode: With the bipolar handpiece, treatments can be carried out without the counterplate, as the counter-electrode is already built into the handpiece.

All electrodes can be equipped with an innovative insulation system that blocks the transmission of electromagnetic waves to the operator.
