The Magnum XL magnetic therapy device from Globus Italia works with low-frequency magnetic fields . The new magnetic field applications enable even more effective treatments. The various programs can be used to treat both large areas, such as the back, and small body regions , such as the joints . A total of 26 preset programs are available, and you can also create a program with custom parameters.
Information about pulsed magnetic field therapy
Globus Italia's magnetic therapy devices generate low-frequency, rectangular signals . The frequency is determined by the number of pulses per second. The intensity of the magnetic field is measured in Gauss (G).
The duty cycle (DC) refers to the time the Magnum XL emits magnetic signals and the time it is off. A duty cycle of 100% is referred to as continuous emission; a duty cycle of less than 100% is referred to as pulsed emission.
In the Magnum XL, the duty cycle is set to 50%. The higher the frequency, the lower the duty cycle, which prevents tissue overheating.
Included in delivery is a flexible solenoid measuring 30 x 10 cm , which can be used for small areas such as the wrist or back . For large-area applications, the Globus Total Body 200 magnetic field mat with 8 coils or the Total Body 400 with 16 coils is suitable. With the magnetic field mat, the full 200 gauss per channel can be utilized.
The Globus Magnum XL has 26 programs , including 16 pain and rehabilitation programs, 10 anti-aging and fitness programs and 1 freely adjustable program.
