Contraindications for Tecar Therapy

Tecar therapy has specific contraindications that can be divided into absolute and relative contraindications. Careful observance of these points is crucial to avoid risks.
Absolute Contraindications

Tecar therapy must not be performed under the following conditions:

Relative Contraindications

•     Areas with reduced sensitivity (hypesthesia): Body areas with reduced sensation require special attention.
•     Overweight patients: Severely overweight patients may react more sensitively to the treatment.
