The developers at Globus Italia have equipped the Triathlon EMS device for home use with two innovative technologies. These additional functions are designed to further optimize the respective sports, fitness, and rehabilitation programs. These are ACTION NOW technology and 3S (Serial Sequence Stimulation).
Action Now
Muscle contractions can be manually triggered by the user using Action Now technology. Each individual contraction only begins after the user holds down the * button. The Action Now programs are particularly effective for associating and synchronizing EMS with a voluntary action. This modality is particularly recommended in sports for athletic preparation.
The idea here is to combine the muscle contraction generated by a muscle stimulation device with overload training, both dynamic and isometric. This allows individual muscle fibers to be targeted more effectively and intensely. Also important for athletes is the coordination effect promoted by this technology.
3S series sequence muscle stimulation
The deep pressure wave triggered by the sequential contraction of different muscle groups influences the affected muscles. This creates a pressure wave that is responsible for the drainage of interstitial fluids. This ensures the return of venous blood to the heart. This form of stimulation can be perfectly integrated as a supplement to all sports applications. Therefore, it is especially recommended for triathletes.

The Globus Triathlon has a total of 15 memory locations for self-programmed EMS and TENS programs.
Multi-user and automatic mode (Auto Stim®)
With the multi-user mode, up to ten different users can be created. Each user then has access to a personal library of personalized programs. This allows each athlete to save selected EMS programs based on their individual needs. With the Auto Stim® mode, a program can be executed without having to manually adjust the intensity.
Synchrostim and runtime function
The Globus Triathlon's Synchrostim function allows you to increase the intensity of all four channels simultaneously with a single button. The frequency, duration, and amplitude of each program can be adjusted during an ongoing session using the runtime function.
2+2 function
Globus has been integrating the 2+2 function into many EMS devices for years. This allows the Globus Triathlon to use two different programs simultaneously (EMS or TENS programs). This device feature allows two users to use different programs simultaneously, each with two channels.
The 2+2 function can also be used by a single user, allowing them to train two muscle groups simultaneously with different EMS programs. For example, triathletes can combine the anaerobic endurance program for the thigh muscles with a muscle-building program for the lower back muscles. This significantly increases flexibility and saves time.
Last 10
The "Last 10" function automatically saves the last 10 programs run, allowing you to quickly restart them.
Runtime and My Trainer
The settings menu includes a program item called "Runtime." This allows you to view the total operating time of the device. The "My Trainer" function displays the electrode placement on the Globus Triathlon display, depending on the desired muscle group to be trained.
