4 reusable iontophoresis suede electrodes
The suede electrodes from Globus Italia are perfect for all iontophoresis applications. Iontophoresis allows the introduction of ionized medications into the skin using a weak, direct electrical current.
Iontophoresis requires special electrodes, such as the reusable suede electrodes, which we offer here in two different sizes (80x60mm and 80x120mm).
Iontophoresis is a recommended alternative when oral or intravenous administration of medication is not appropriate. The direct current allows the medication, usually in ointment form, to penetrate deep and quickly into the tissue.
To use the suede electrodes with clips, a clip adapter for a 2mm connector is required. Each pack contains four adapters.
