The Breathe-Link software is compatible with macOS up to and including Mac OS Sonoma 14.XX as well as Windows-based PCs (not compatible with Windows 10 S).

Contraindications

Breathing muscle training with the POWERbreathe K5 is not recommended in certain cases:

• Patients who have recently undergone abdominal surgery or have an abdominal hernia
• Asthma patients with low symptom awareness and frequent exacerbations
• Patients with a ruptured eardrum or other ear conditions
• Patients with increased left ventricular end-diastolic volume and pressure
• Patients with worsening heart failure symptoms after IMT
• Patients with a cold, sinusitis, or respiratory infections
