Hydrogel replacement pads for TensCare Form
A pack of 3 pairs of small hydrogel pads for the TensCare Form EMS device. Large hydrogel pads are also available.
Hydrogels must be applied correctly to the electrodes for the device to function properly. Incorrect application can result in uneven or ineffective stimulation.
Application - Before the session
It is essential to cleanse your skin before use.
Select the hydrogel and smart electrode for the targeted muscle.
Remove the hydrogels from the foil packaging.
Remove the black liners labeled 1 from one of the hydrogels and apply them to the back of the electrodes.
Remove the clear liners labeled 2 from the electrodes. Ensure the hydrogels remain adhered to the electrode.
Note: Please be careful when removing the liners from the hydrogels to ensure that the gel is not damaged.
Place the clear liner in the travel bag. The black liner can be discarded.
Place the smart electrode on the targeted muscle (see electrode placement instructions).
Do not ignore an allergic reaction to the hydrogels: discontinue use if skin irritation occurs. A small percentage of users may experience an adverse reaction to the gel.
Do not place the hydrogels on areas of skin that have impaired sensation or on broken skin.
Application - After the session
The stimulator switches off automatically when the session is completed.
Remove the stimulator from the electrode.
Remove the electrode from the body by peeling it off at the outer edges.
Reapply the clear plastic liner to the hydrogels and store the electrodes and stimulator in the travel case. Proper storage between uses helps maximize the lifespan of the gel.
Notes
The hydrogels are reusable and should allow for 10-20 applications per gel. However, this may vary depending on the user's skin condition and how the hydrogels are stored between applications. Try to limit the time the gels are exposed to air.
Replace the hydrogels when they lose their stickiness. Poor adhesion to the body can lead to ineffective treatment, discomfort, and skin irritation.
The included hydrogels are intended for single use. The adhesive is a removable hydrogel (water-based).
