The I-Tech Motor Point Pen is an essential tool for an effective EMS session, as it allows you to position the electrodes correctly. Use it before the session to locate the motor point of the muscle and achieve optimal stimulation.
The Motor Point Pen is easy to use: Connect the positive cable of one channel to the pen’s small socket and place a 50x90mm electrode at the muscle’s origin. Connect this electrode to the negative cable. Then select the desired program on your muscle stimulator and generously apply gel to the area of the muscle where the electrode is to be placed.
You can now slowly increase the intensity and move the Motor Point Pen over the relevant area of skin, applying light pressure without losing contact with the skin. Place the electrode centrally over the spot that produces the strongest response. Refer to the description for approximate electrode placement positions.
