High-quality ultrasound therapy device with 1MHz and touchscreen
Therapeutic ultrasound has been successfully used for medical applications for many years. Many physiotherapy practices and rehabilitation clinics successfully use ultrasound therapy devices for a variety of conditions.
These include acute and subacute inflammatory and traumatic conditions. The Therasonic 360 is also very effective in treating chronic rheumatic diseases, arthritis, scars, and fibrous tissue.
Further areas of application include pain therapy.
The device is very well made, can be operated intuitively via the touchscreen, and can be used for all soft tissue injuries.
Ultrasound applications underwater
The ultrasound head is also suitable for treatment in a water bath. This is particularly recommended for treating areas that are not uniform, such as the hands and feet.
The therapist should ensure that they use degassed water (water that has been boiled to remove any air trapped in it. Allow to cool after boiling). After immersing the body part to be treated, any air bubbles that may have accumulated on the skin should be removed.
Next, the treatment parameters should be set and the ultrasound head should be immersed in water. The ultrasound head should then be held as straight as possible, approximately 1 cm from the treatment site. Then, gently move the ultrasound head in a circular motion. After the specified treatment time has elapsed, the device will shut off.
Combination therapy ultrasound / EMS
The two ultrasound therapy devices Therasonic 360 and Primo Therasonic 460 can also be connected to the electrotherapy device Primo Multidyne 970 for combination therapy.
For this, a suitable electrode is attached next to the treatment area and connected to one of the electrotherapy device's two-way cable outputs. One end of the combination therapy cable is connected to the dedicated electrotherapy device input on the front of the Therasonic 360 or 460, and the other end is connected to the second, still available output on the two-way cable of the Multidyne 970 EMS device.
For combination therapy, only the large ultrasound head should be used to ensure a sufficient contact area so that the current density of the EMS device remains at a safe level. The treatment time for the EMS device should be set slightly longer than for the ultrasound device.
At the beginning of treatment, the lesion point should be positioned between the stimulator electrode and the ultrasound head. During treatment, the head should be moved in a circular motion over the lesion point, using sufficient gel and an EMS setting that generates a tingling sensation in the patient.
A selection of treatment protocols: pressure ulcers, chronic venous ulcers, trigger points, irritability, tendon injuries, chronic osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia, soft tissue injuries, impingement syndrome, calcified shoulder, perineal pain.
