EMS, TENS, NEMS, ionotophoresis for pain therapy, rehabilitation and beauty
Thanks to its TENS programs, the device can be used for a wide range of pain therapies . It also features NEMS protocols for muscle rehabilitation and training , for the treatment of trauma and muscle atrophy.
The BEAUTY programs are designed for contouring, muscle toning, and skin tightening for aesthetic purposes. The I-TECH PHYSIO is also suitable for the treatment and rehabilitation of denervated muscles . For this purpose, the device uses AAWS (anti-accommodation square waves) and triangular waveforms with pulse widths of up to 250 ms.
The I-TECH PHYSIO electrotherapy device also incorporates special iontophoresis protocols. Iontophoresis is an electrotherapeutic technique for delivering medication to the painful area or area with contractures.
The current promotes the penetration of the medication (ions) and penetrates the pain zone, allowing the medication to work in its intended way.
Iontophoresis has two major advantages: it eliminates the need to take medication orally, and it allows direct treatment of the pain areas. Iontophoresis is also used for male genital disorders, such as IPP (Indurato Penile Plastic Surgery) or La Peyronie's disease. However, you should consult a urologist before beginning any such treatment with the I-Tech Physio.
In the field of urology, I-TECH PHYSIO also offers special incontinence protocols that can be used to treat incontinence problems . These involve sending specific waveforms with the appropriate frequency and pulse width to probes ( vaginal or anal , available as accessories). These transmit the impulse to the lower pelvic muscle or sphincter. This trains the muscles and can prevent or reduce urinary or fecal incontinence.
With the two independent channels and the included branching cables, up to eight electrodes can be connected. Sponge electrodes for iontophoresis applications are also included. The device offers excellent value for money, is very well made, and is equipped with a rechargeable battery.
