Electrotherapy in new dimensions
The EME Elektra 2 electrotherapy device not only stands out from other EMS devices with its vast selection of different current types, but also sets a new standard in user-friendliness. The 8-inch touchscreen provides access to the numerous settings and programs.
The therapist can select the current type, the preconfigured programs, or based on the different body parts. Two channels are available, which can operate independently of each other.
This makes it possible to use the Elektra 2's stimulation programs in a variety of ways. Different programs can be run in parallel, alternately, simultaneously, synchronously, or sequentially. This unique selection allows for limitless electrotherapy.
Main effects of electrical stimulation with the Elektra 2
With the Elektra 2, the neuromuscular system is perfectly responded to both intentional and unintentional stress through active contraction. Pain is modulated by the gate control mechanism. Joint mobility is improved through mechanical muscle stretching, and wound healing is accelerated by localized blood flow stimulation.
Edema can be positively influenced by activating the muscle pump. In cases of spasticity, the agonists and antagonists can be stimulated. Transdermal application (iontophoresis) can be used to deliver medicinal substances into the skin.
Elektra 2 Highlights
A large color display with an 8-inch touch screen, more than 36 different current types (low and medium frequencies, high voltage, micro-current types, NMES, stochastic, APS, etc.) and over 100 work protocols ensure optimal treatment options for every type of therapy.
It's possible to create patient cards with a wide range of information, including a selection of individual programs and a review of treatment history. A help button for each program is also available to the therapist, allowing them to view program details and therapy instructions.
It's also possible to connect the Elektra to the K-Sound to perform ultrasound and electrotherapy treatments simultaneously. The Elektra 2 can also be connected to the Vacuumed to offer vacuum therapy. A smart card for storing treatments and patient information is also included.
