The K2 is sold out and no longer available for order. Alternatively, we offer the POWERbreathe K1 , POWERbreathe K3 , POWERbreathe K4 , or POWERbreathe K5 .
Electronic breathing trainer with evaluation options.
With the POWERbreathe K2, in addition to pure respiratory muscle training, the training progress and effectiveness of the respiratory muscle training can also be monitored.
POWERbreathe K2 - suitable for the following groups of people
- Recreational and competitive athletes as well as team sports players at low to medium levels
- Endurance athletes such as cyclists, triathletes, runners, swimmers, etc.
- Competitive athletes who want to improve their time trial performance
- Professional groups that must wear respiratory protective equipment (firefighters, rescue services, etc.)
- Singers who want to improve their vocal range
- People who are physically active at high altitudes (mountaineers, climbers, skiers, etc.) - During injury and rehabilitation phases
POWERbreathe K2 - how it works
The respiratory muscles are strongest when the lungs are empty. However, when the lungs refill with air, the muscles lose strength and therefore cannot maintain a full contraction throughout the entire breath during high-intensity exercise, such as endurance sports.
This is where electronic resistance training with variable threshold using the POWERbreathe K2 comes in. The contraction curve of your respiratory muscles is adjusted throughout the entire breathing process by reducing the resistance.
This allows for a full breath and muscle contraction with optimal resistance. At the beginning of each training session, the POWERbreathe K2 automatically adjusts to the increase in inspiratory muscle strength.
An electronically controlled valve with a very fast response time forms the basis of the device and ensures the generation of inhalation resistance. This strengthens the respiratory muscles, as they are subjected to significantly greater strain than usual due to the increased inhalation resistance.

POWERbreathe K2 - Contraindications
Inspiratory muscle training, such as breathing training with the POWERbreathe, is not recommended for patients with certain conditions, including:
Asthma patients with low symptom awareness who suffer from frequent, severe exacerbations or have an unusually low awareness of shortness of breath.
Ruptured eardrum or other pathological condition of the ear.
Patients with significantly increased left ventricular end-diastolic volume and pressure.
Patients with worsening signs and symptoms of heart failure after RMT/IMT.
If in doubt, consult your doctor.
