The TecarVet 2000 is the basic TECAR therapy device from the Globus Veterinary line. It features a single bipolar handpiece, allowing treatments in resistive mode with a maximum power of 50W. The TecarVet 2000 can be used to perform high-frequency heat therapy for the muscles and joints of dogs and cats. For the treatment of horses, we recommend the TecarVet 4000 .
Tecar therapy is an innovative high-frequency thermotherapy that is used in veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation, primarily to support the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Therapeutic effects of TECAR therapy
Biostimulation : Biostimulation also plays an important role in many healing processes in animal physiotherapy. The biostimulation generated by the TECAR application can have a positive influence on tissue repair and metabolism through increased nutrient and oxygen supply.
Modulation of cell proliferation and differentiation and activation of cell functions can occur.
Anti-inflammatory and anti-edema : The anti-inflammatory and anti-edema properties of TECAR therapy are based on the generation of true deep heat. This can support lymphatic drainage and vasodilation.
