Versatile electrotherapy with the Flexistim from TensCare

The TensCare Flexistim is a versatile and powerful electrotherapy device that combines various current forms in a single unit. EMS, TENS, IFT (interferon), and microcurrent applications are available to the user.

With four different treatment modes, the TensCare Flexistim can accelerate the healing of various symptoms and provide pain relief . This electrotherapy device is suitable for both home treatment and use by a physiotherapist .

The fixed programs have been developed for a variety of conditions, including arthritis, sciatica, joint pain, spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and rheumatoid arthritis. There are also programs for various pain conditions that can be used as a complement to conventional treatment methods.

Self-adhesive electrode pads transmit electrical impulses into the tissue. In painful conditions, the electrodes are placed around the area of pain. The electrical impulses can then alleviate the pain in various ways.

Treatment modes of the Flexistim electrotherapy device

The TensCare Flexistim, a multimodal electrotherapy device , combines four different treatment modes, offering the user a high degree of versatility and flexibility. Below is a list of the different current modes:

1. EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) : EMS is a widely recognized method for pain relief, muscle building, and muscle rehabilitation after injury or surgery. This form of therapy uses electrical current to generate intense muscle contractions.

This is made possible by self-adhesive electrodes in different sizes, through which the current generated by the device is delivered to the tissue.

2. TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) : With the TENS programs, pain relief can be achieved by, among other things, supporting the release of the body's own natural painkillers (endorphins) and blocking pain signals in the brain.

3. IFT (Interferential Current Therapy) : Interferential currents provide continuous stimulation deep within the tissue, thus providing pain relief for deep-seated pain. Interferential therapy can also simultaneously reduce swelling and inflammation, which are often a source of pain.

4. Microcurrent Stimulation : Microcurrents offer a gentle form of muscle stimulation, as they do not generate visible muscle contractions. However, the low currents can accelerate the body's own natural healing processes.

TensCare FlexiStim Features

  • 27 EMS programs, 10 TENS programs, 4 interference programs, 4 microcurrents and 6 free program memory slots offer a wide selection of different therapy options, which is rare in this price range.
  • Portable and lightweight, with belt clip for mobile use.
  • High-contrast LCD display with backlight for easy operation.
  • Replaceable Li-Ion battery for mobile use and an external power supply for the high power requirements of interferential therapy.
  • The TensCare Flexistim electrotherapy device automatically starts with the last program used and also has a usage memory that stores the total usage time and the number of applications.
  • Detector in TENS and EMS mode for correct cable connection. The current output immediately returns to zero if an open circuit is detected.
  • Adapter for Great Britain and EU.
