The new EMS Vacuum-660 device can be combined with the existing MK2 Primo series. It offers a convenient form of electrode application for interferential therapy. The cup electrodes with their sponge inserts are held in place by negative pressure. Both the vacuum and the electrodes are connected via a cable.
This form of electrotherapy is particularly suitable for treating relatively flat, smooth areas of the body, such as the back. The vacuum cups can be applied quickly and easily here. Vacuum therapy is also particularly suitable for relatively immobile patients, as the electrodes can be applied comfortably without the need for elastic bands, etc.
With the Vacuum 660, the vacuum can be adjusted to a comfortable level via the front control panel. Connection to the Primo Multidyne 970 electrotherapy device is made via the socket on the front of the Vacuum 660 unit using the included connection cable. 2- or 4-pole electrode applications can be used. To further reduce the likelihood of bruising caused by the vacuum, two pulsed vacuum presets are available.
